Environmental Concept Plan for Morgan’s Grove Park Public Outreach Meeting

  • 102 E. German Street Shepherdstown, WV United States (map)

We invite you to help shape the future of Morgan’s Grove Park by sharing your input on a new Green Infrastructure (GI) concept plan.

The Town Run Watershed Group, in partnership with the Shepherdstown Community Club, is facilitating a Phase I Green Infrastructure planning project for Morgan’s Grove Park through a Chesapeake Bay Trust G3 Grant.

Green infrastructure uses natural and nature-based solutions—such as rain gardens, permeable surfaces, and improved drainage—to manage stormwater, protect local streams, and improve community spaces.

This Phase I project focuses on planning and community engagement only. No construction decisions have been made. Your feedback will help determine whether a future Phase II implementation phase is pursued.

Important Context

  • Morgan’s Grove Park is privately owned and is not Town property.

  • This project is being developed through a partnership with the Shepherdstown Community Club.

Review the Concept Plan
To support informed public input, the Green Infrastructure concept plan will be available beginning February 18.
